The First Friday of each month will be a call to action. We will be sharing a little gem of a story about Henry and Megan which will spur us on to do a specific act of kindness for that month. Of course you are still encouraged to be creative and to do good deeds of your own choosing. First Fridays will be an opportunity to band together as a brigade and to make a noticeable impact on our surrounding communities.
bri-gade (noun) a group of people organized as a unit to do work
Our “work” is easy: Spreading hope, love and joy through simple acts of kindness.
Look for our “First Fridays” under Recent Posts on the side bar if you don’t see them on the home page.

I love this, like a pay it forward/random act of kindness. I am trying this with my grade 9 students in Kathmandu, Nepal!

Hello Chip! We heard about the devastation the earthquake caused in Nepal and we thought of you. We hope you and your students are okay. Please know we are praying for you, along with many others around the world. If there is anything we could do, let us know. Perhaps we could write cards of encouragement to your students?
