Kindness theme for April: Pedals and Pastries

Pastry Run

We are thrilled to announce that our friends at Insomnia Coffee have chosen our little tricycle of kindness to benefit from their annual Pastry Run. This 5k-ish fun-run is Sunday April 23rd. You may choose to run or walk (or in our case…pedal). The route starts at their Baseline shop at 2pm and finishes at their Tanasbourne shop where you will be treated with a yummy pastry. We will be out and about helping with registration and along the route. You can register at The cost is $25 per person or $40 per family. A major portion from each registration will benefit our nonprofit which in turn will be used for our annual toy drive. It’s a win win so sign up today!

Pedals and Pastries equal toys and smiles for the kids at Randall Children’s Hospital.

To honor this sweet event we thought it would be fun to have this month’s kindness theme be “trike a pastry”. You could bake cookies for a neighbor, take donuts to work or even treat a stranger behind you in line at the coffee shop. All we ask is that you attach a trike ticket so they can pay it forward. Tickets can be printed for free at Then share your photos on our Facebook page!

Thanks for helping us keep this tricycle of kindness rolling…

one sweet morsel at a time!
